Welcome to the next generation of health care. The Community Pain Center (CPC) is the only patient-centric, one-stop destination web portal for actively managing your health. This type of service has not been available for people living with pain–until now. Our goal is to provide you with the resources and tools you need to improve your health. Within the CPC you can utilize a wealth of products and services, educational materials and self-management tools to save time and money, improve access to care, and lead to better health outcomes.

The CPC’s “Support Centers” already include a host of community focused, interactive, motivational and useful tools and services to promote health and wellbeing. As the CPC grows beyond its beta stages in the coming months, members will also have access to an integration of experienced companies, non-profit organizations, educational providers, leading health care professionals, extensive evidence-based treatment options and informational content, one-on-one counseling and advocacy programs, plus so much more!

Please bear with us as we diligently work, with your feedback and input, to fully develop the CPC into the comprehensive health care community you want it to be. You are instrumental in this process and we ask you to share your suggestions and comments, so that we can create the optimum environment for you to realize your best health.

We are honored to offer our community members hope and help in actively working together towards better health.

The Pain Cooperative is a special place in the Community Pain Center™ where organizations can share their devotion to improving the lives of people with chronic pain. Compassionate non-profit organizations (NPOs) are partnering with the CPC to reach those in need of resources and services. CPC members will benefit from the cooperative, but they can also contribute to the educational information and experiences that these organizations offer.

Each month we help raise funds and support for featured NPOs that have accomplished extraordinary outcomes. These programs and campaigns are dedicated to improving the lives of those in the pain community and are crucial in advancing our goals for healing and health. As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

Reversing unhealthy habits that keep us stuck in a rut of pain and illness can be the biggest challenge we face on our path to wellness. At this point you might be discouraged to the point of giving up, but there is hope and there is help. The CPC is all about solutions! We know that it takes support from others to turn our health around, and we are building that community of support and help. The Resource Center is an essential part of this community, fortified by a legion of partners and affiliates devoted to your health and wellbeing.

This support center provides members with an extensive directory of health-related products and services, as well as special promotions, free samples, discounts, and coupons that promote our self-management approach to wellness. These sponsors and affiliates have been hand selected by the Community Pain Center™ for their commitment to enhancing the lives of those with chronic pain and related conditions.

A safe and secure way to improve your health is by consolidating your personal medical information into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system like My Medical Vault™. As chronic pain patients we consult a multitude of health care providers over time. It’s not easy to keep track of who we’ve seen and when, what were the results, which medications helped or not, how we reacted to certain treatments, and what our insurance covers, and so on. There’s so much information to sort through; so many things to keep track

The CPC’s HIPAA-compliant My Medical Vault EMR offers a centralized and secure location to organize your medical information. Your privacy is guaranteed and you can share your information with your health care providers, or only with those you choose. The Vault is designed so that this part of your self-management program can be painless.

As an individual with chronic pain working towards healing your body, mind and soul, you know how helpful support from others can be. Many of us may already have a network of family, friends and caregivers surrounding us, but there is nothing quite like a support system of people who also live with chronic pain. Knowing someone who really “gets it” is comforting as well as empowering.

The CPC’s Community Support Center is the place to connect with others facing similar health issues, where you can share stories and photos, tips and resources, and encourage one another along the journey to wellness. With community forums, live chat centers, and our unique social network, this support center promotes community connection and interaction.

The CPC’s Community Partners offer a host of products and services designed to improve the quality of life for people living with chronic pain and other related conditions. The CPC has carefully chosen viable and trustworthy companies who specialize in providing solutions for members of the Community Pain Center.

Within the Community Partners support center you will find access to various high-quality health products and services, such as 24/7 access to care via telemedicine programs, pain care referral assistance, social services, medical discount programs, life coaching, pet-related programs, and so much more.

To better help individuals living with pain, the CPC believes that health care providers (HCPs) are an integral part of our community. An us-against-them attitude doesn’t serve anyone. We must work together in order to succeed in improving health, lowering medical costs and changing the way pain is perceived. This support center is focused on enlarging the medical community’s resources so that they may better serve the patient community.

The HCPEA support center emphasizes health education and continuing medical education curricula through training and certification programs, apps with information and tools to assist HCPs and their patients, and collaborative portals for exchanging data, research and new treatments. This type of cooperation amongst HCPs can only expedite the unification of the medical and patient communities.

If you are someone who prefers to get your news, entertainment and information through television or video, this support center is your go-to for what you want to know. If you want some healthy advice, the latest research, or just to hear stories from other people like you, e-Health Media features four channels for your education support and enjoyment.

The Science and Research channel delivers just that - the science and research about pain and other related conditions. Our Interactive Health channel features informative how-to videos in which you can participate along with the show, on topics such as nutrition, exercise and ways you can actively improve your health. You can watch the Lifestyle and Tips channel for programs about our day-to-day needs and activities like sleep, family, relationships, hobbies, spirituality, self-care, and so much more. The Treatments and Help channel gives you information and suggestions in the areas of managing your health, assistance from health professionals, dealing with caregivers, cutting-edge medical interventions and complementary therapies.

Education empowers! Knowing is power! We know that you are thirsty for knowledge to better yourself and others. The CPC’s Learning Exchange is the destination to do that. The more you know, the more we can help. That is why the CPC has dedicated a support center to the practice of learning. Here you will find articles on everything from nutrition and exercise to the latest scientific research, to fun healthy activities you can do with your family and friends.

Presented in written form, pictures and graphics, videos, webinars, surveys and podcasts, the Learning Exchange provides the most informative, medically-accurate and relevant information you seek in your quest for improved health. Our catalog includes material from a variety of popular magazines, medical journals and other recognized publications, as well as original CPC-created media and contributions from the pain community at large.

One of the most important aspects of a self-managed health program is figuring out what works and what doesn’t. But how do we know if our efforts are paying off? Evidence proves that recording our treatments, activities and symptoms on a daily, or even hourly, basis is key to improving our health outcomes. Unfortunately, with chronic pain and our busy lives, most of us don’t have the time or energy to create and update a system to track our symptoms and progress. The CPC has the solution!

Self-Management Tools support center provides access to our Symptom Tracker and Reporting system (STAR)™. These applications help you simply and precisely document your symptoms as many times a day as you want. They also work in tandem with the Weekly Individualized Self Help program (WISH)™ to help evaluate health habits like sleep, exercise, and nutrition. You will be able to see the real-time results of your progress by comparing the changes in your symptoms from STAR with what you are doing to improve your health in WISH. These and other valuable patient assessment tools that will be coming over time can now do for us what we previously couldn’t do for ourselves.
